Welcome to the band program at CECFC middle and high schools! We aim to have students thrive as passionate musicians and commit to high standards of excellence. Our classroom principles of Collaboration, Care, and Connection also help students cultivate experiences in leadership, creativty, and global citizenship.

[email protected] Sebastian Adams began playing clarinet at age 11 and never looked back. He earned his Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Master's in Music Education with a Wind Conducting emphasis at Colorado State University. He served as interim professor of music education at Colorado State University, conducted Denver Public Schools honor bands, and fulfilled director roles of the Middle School Outreach Ensembles program. During his three year tenure directing instrumental music at Thornton High School, he helped triple program enrollment through collaborating with students, administration, and surrounding middle school programs and communities. He currently conducts the Northern Colorado Concert Band, and he has worked at CEC since Fall 2018. Mr. Adams believes in the access music provides to the nourishment of individual and cultural identity, and he is dedicated to creating music from the inside out with his students. |
